Meet Attorney, Urbano Lino.
Education, Honors & Recognitions
Urbano Lino is a highly accomplished attorney with a strong academic foundation in criminal justice and law, recognized nationally for academic excellence, leadership, and professional achievement.
He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he was awarded a 50% annual merit-based tuition scholarship in recognition of his academic performance. During law school, he earned placement on the Dean’s List.
Prior to law school, Mr. Lino earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from The University of Texas at Tyler, graduating with a strong academic record and being named a Presidential Scholar and Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar. He was also inducted as a Presidential Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, recognizing his leadership and academic achievement.
He began his academic career at Tyler Junior College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice. His academic excellence earned him several prestigious national recognitions, including:
Bronze Coca-Cola All-Academic Team Scholar (selected 1 in 50 nationwide)
Phi Theta Kappa Guistwhite Scholar (selected 1 in 20 nationwide)
Honorable William Merritt Steger Legal Professions Endowed Scholar
Beyond his academic background, Mr. Lino has developed meaningful, hands-on experience in the legal field through several years of work as a criminal defense paralegal and seven years of service as a Dallas County Probation Officer. This background gives him unique insight into the criminal justice system and strengthens his ability to effectively advocate for his clients.
Mr. Lino was born in Guerrero, Mexico and is fluent in both English and Spanish. As a former immigrant, he brings cultural competency, academic distinction, and professional experience to every client he serves.
